The fact that there can be a big blast at a party at FC Knokke on Wednesday evening is mainly thanks to Thijs Coninckx. The 19-year-old young man from Sint-Michiels-Bruges kicked the coastal team from the spot on that legendary last Tuesday of October against KV Mechelen to the eighth finals of the Croky Cup against OH Leuven. The foot lunch is fully booked with 500 diners and Coninckx and co. hoping for another stunt. “After KV Mechelen we celebrated a lot. Hopefully we can do that again.”
