The Belgian Cat, including American superstar Breanna Stewart (30 points, 17 rebounds) and Ukraine-born Alina Iagupova (19 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists), led Fenerbahce Istanbul after a 47-40 bonus halfway to a 91-71 victory vs Hungarian side Szekszard. With 7 out of 9, the Turkish team remains leader in group A.
Kangaroos Mechelen on Thursday in Willebroek against DVTK Hun-Therm
In group B, Belgian champion Kangaroos Mechelen will receive the Hungarian DVTK Hun-Therm on Thursday evening (20:30 De Schalk Willebroek). The Maneblussers could only cheer once more this season in Europe. Laure Resimont and Renée Denys are also uncertain with foot injuries.
