The Pro League plans to release the playing calendar on Monday, January 16, up to and including the weekend of March 17. The association of Belgian professional clubs reported this on Wednesday.

For the Jupiler Pro League, this means that the matches will be scheduled up to and including match day 30. In the Challenger Pro League, the last game (matchday 22) of the regular competition is already before the weekend of February 10. Once the final positions have been determined, a calendar will also be determined for the play-offs.
The calendar is under fire from supporters in the 2022-2023 season, partly due to the late announcement of the playing times. For example, the performance dates for the weekend of February 3-5 are currently unknown. Particularly disturbing for many loyal fans, since they cannot yet plan their weekend – there is also life besides football.
The fiercely criticized 9 p.m. match on Sunday was already removed at the end of 2022. On matchday 24 (February 5), that match will be replaced for the first time by a kick-off at 7:15 PM or 7:30 PM.
