Man City set to face Real Madrid in Champions League quarter-finals, Trossard and Arsenal potentially facing Bayern Munich

Manchester City faces a tough task against Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. That is the result of Friday's draw in Nyon, Switzerland. Furthermore, Leandro Trossard and Arsenal may visit Bayern Munich.

Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund. We would see nothing but top posters in the quarter-finals of the champions' ball. Ex-Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel was the first to take Leandro Trossard's Arsenal out of the cup and link them to Bayern Munich. A tough one for the Gunners, who have often lost against the Rekordmeister in the eighth finals in the past.

Afterwards it was Atletico's turn. Axel Witsel and Arthur Vermeeren were presented with perhaps the weakest opponent of all the quarter-finalists in Dortmund. But the absolute top bill still had to come: Manchester City-Real Madrid, a re-run of last year's semi-final. Finally, Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona emerged.

On top of that, there was still a draw for the semi-finals. This way we won't get an all-English final anyway, as Arsenal will play against the winner of the clash between Real Madrid and Man City if they win against Bayern. Witsel and Vermeeren may face PSG or Barcelona in a possible semi-final.

The first matches will be played on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 April, with the return matches a week later.
