Dries Wouters languishes in Mechelen B-squad: “An outcast? Yes, that’s how I feel”

A year after his arrival at KV Mechelen, Dries Wouters (25) spends his days in the B-squad of Malinwa. The result of a cost-cutting operation that also affected Iebe Swers and Jorge Hernandez. “They would rather lose us than get rich, but that doesn’t mean they should treat us like garbage,” the Limburg midfielder responds sharply.
