After Toby Alderweireld and Romelu Lukaku, Loïs Openda now also believes that Thierry Henry should become the new national coach of the Red Devils.

“Just as other teammates (Romelu Lukaku and Toby Alderweireld, ed.) have already revealed, I also think Thierry Henry should become the new national coach,” Openda said at a press conference at his team RC Lens. “He already knows the team, has a good mentality, has the necessary experience. That’s what we need and that’s why I think Henry would be the right choice for the national team.”

“Moreover, I have a good relationship with him,” Openda continues. “Because he himself was a very good attacker in his active career, I can learn a lot from him. So far he has given me a lot of tips and if he becomes head coach, he will only continue to do so.”
