The Brooklyn Nets won the game against the Miami Heat 101-102 on Sunday evening in the NBA, but the knee injury of star player Kevin Durant cast a shadow over the victory.

The former MVP was injured shortly before the end of the third quarter after a duel with Jimmy Butler. He grabbed his right knee and had to leave the premises. Durant had 17 points to his name at the time. A scan should bring more clarity.

The 12-time All-Star averages 30 points per game for Brooklyn, which has moved up to second place in the Eastern Conference behind leader Boston after a poor start to the season.

Kyrie Irving was the top scorer of the game with 29 points. Royce O’Neale crowned himself with a striking basket three seconds from the end as the match winner with the Nets, who recorded their fourteenth success in fifteen games.
