Brooklyn won the NBA game against the Miami Heat 101-102 on Sunday-evening. However, Durant’s knee injury cast a shadow over the victory. The former MVP was hurt shortly before the end of the third quarter after a duel with Jimmy Butler. He grabbed his right knee and had to leave the premises. Durant had 17 points to his name at the time. A scan shows that the inner ligament of his right knee is sprained.
The 12-time All-Star averages 30 points per game for Brooklyn, which has moved up to second place in the Eastern Conference behind leader Boston after a poor start to the season.
