Chelsea almost certainly has a new player with the Portuguese Joao Félix. According to the usually well-informed The Athletic and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, a final rental agreement of around 11 million euros is almost done.

Atlético would initially have found the sum of around 11 million euros too low, but would eventually have accepted because Chelsea wanted to take Félix’s full salary and associated taxes. Félix will be under contract in London until the end of June this year.
Félix also enjoyed interest from Manchester United and Arsenal, but the 23-year-old Portuguese attacker would prefer a move to The Blues.
