Anderlecht coach Brian Riemer makes a remarkable choice against Union tonight. The plan is to put Bart Verbruggen in goal, while captain Hendrik van Crombrugge will fall next to the team.

The 20-year-old Dutch keeper was already between the posts against Charleroi before the winter break, but Van Crombrugge was still ill at the time. Now it will be a purely sporty choice. Anderlecht sees Verbruggen – who was able to go to Burnley with Kompany last summer – as the keeper of the future.

It will be the tenth match for the Dutch goalie in the Purple & White A-team. Previously, he mainly played with the Futures in 1B.
