AC Milan was unable to win the top match against AS Roma on Sunday evening. The Rossoneri nevertheless seemed to be on its way to a comfortable 2-0 win, but in the final minutes Roma turned that into a 2-2 draw. Alexis Saelemaekers played for 85 minutes, while Charles De Ketelaere and Aster Vranckx came on when there was no problem for Milan.
Milan had taken the lead through Kalulu after half an hour and with just under fifteen minutes to go, Tommaso Pobega seemed to secure the victory by scoring the 2-0. Pobega had just come in for Brahim Diaz, with whom Charles De Ketelaere competes for a spot in the starting eleven.
De Ketelaere was allowed to come on in the 85th minute, ten minutes earlier Aster Vranckx had also entered the field at Milan. It would turn out to be a sour raid for the two Belgians, because it went completely wrong for Milan in the final phase. Ibanez first scored the connection goal in minute 87 and in the 93rd minute Tammy Abraham even made it 2-2, so that Roma took a point.
Milan is doing a bad job in the Serie A standings, as it is already 7 points behind leader Napoli and is level with team-in-form Juventus. Roma remains in joint fifth place with fellow townsman Lazio.
