Ajax cannot win against NEC and scoring Landry Dimata for the fourth league match in a row

Landry Dimata celebrates his goal

Ajax remains in trouble in the Eredivisie. Even on Sunday afternoon on the fifteenth match day, it could not win for the fourth league match in a row: 1-1.

Jens HeylenBron: BELGIAN

Davy Klaassen had kicked the national champion ahead at the end of the first half, but the team from Nijmegen hoisted themselves to the same level after the break thanks to Landry Dimata. Dimata went to the side in the 87th minute, exhausted.

Due to the meager 3 out of 12, the chair of former Club Brugge coach Alfred Schreuder falters even more. Ajax is in second place in the ranking in the Dutch highest football division with 31 points, three points behind rival Feyenoord.

Utrecht van Boussaid swallows an equalizer against Feyenoord in injury time

FC Utrecht swallowed a late equalizer against Feyenoord in their own Galgenwaard on Sunday afternoon on the fifteenth matchday of the Eredivisie. The Domstedelingen had to allow a 1-1 draw in injury time.

Nota bene Jens Toornstra, under contract with the team from Rotterdam from 2014 to 2022, already killed his ex-club in the third minute on a pass from Bas Dost (ex-Club Brugge). The leader then seemed unable to fight back, until substitute Alireza Jahanbakhsh still managed to score a point. Othman Boussaid started for the home team in the starting line-up and was relieved in the 81st minute.
