There’s ‘Mazzu-time’ again! Charleroi books an important victory in extremis visiting Eupen

Coach Felice Mazzu has his first win since his return to Charleroi. The Carolos came to visit Eupen at a disadvantage, but that dire situation was turned around in the second half. It was Damien Marcq who headed in the 1-2 final score past Lennart Moser in the penultimate minute of regular time after a corner kick. Against the run of the game, Boris Lambert had headed the home side ahead just before the break. In the standings, Charleroi remains in twelfth place with 22 points, three more than first pursuer Eupen.

The match day was kicked off on Friday evening with a 1-1 draw between Standard and STVV. Saturday evening everything is dominated by the squatter on the Bosuil between Antwerp and AA Gent.
