Lionel Messi’s most liked photo on Instagram, did Lionel Messi hold a replica of the World Cup in the air? “We are 100 percent sure”

Almost three weeks ago, Lionel Messi fulfilled his dream by winning the World Cup with Argentina. What followed was a triumphal procession with the World Cup, but it now appears that a replica was also circulating.

Lionel Messi has recently become the new record holder on Instagram. His iconic photo of the world cup won in the air outclassed a photo of an egg, which collected more than 58 million likes. Messi went smoothly and is currently already over 74 million. Apart from the fact that the picture is very similar to how Diego Maradona was allowed to celebrate the world championship in 1986, another striking piece of news has recently come out. According to the Argentinian Clarin, the PSG star is not holding the real World Cup at all, but a replica of it.

Paula Zuzulich and Manuel Zaro, an Argentinian couple who sat in the stadium during the final against France, had a replica made for the World Cup and also showed it when their country emerged victorious. The fans around them wanted their picture taken with the identical-looking trophy and the replica ended up on the field through an acquaintance of midfielder Leandro Paredes. Without realizing it, Messi posed in numerous photos with the fake cup. This would also include the photo from Instagram. Teammate Angel Di Maria seemed to realize it and to draw Messi’s attention.

“100% sure it’s our cup”

The couple recently stated in the Argentinian Clarin that they “saw all kinds of photos popping up after the game of the Argentine football players, with their cup in their hands.”

“We recognized our replica by some details at the bottom, because the relief there is not made exactly the same. We are 100 percent sure that Messi lifts our cup in his record photo on Instagram. When we got it back after almost an hour, a FIFA steward wanted to double check that it really wasn’t the original version.”
