Lens only squeezes past fifth division in Coupe de France in the final phase

Lens, the current number two in the standings of Ligue 1, was only able to crack the code of fifth division Linas-Montlhery in the final phase on Saturday in the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France. Two late goals resulted in a flattered 0–2 win.

Loïs Openda started in the base at Lens, but was relieved after more than an hour when it was still 0-0. Seko Fofana (72.) and Florian Sotoca (77.), Openda’s replacement, eventually prevented a disgrace in the Stade Robert Bobin.
