A busy match day in the FA Cup. In addition to the stunt of the sixth division Maidstone, Leicester managed to qualify for the 1/8th finals with Dennis Praet making the 3-0 and Wout Faes on the bench. Amadou Onana and Everton received a cold shower from Luton in extra time, where Sambi Lokonga had already been substituted.

Leicester, with Dennis Praet kicking off for the first time in a long time, won 3-0 against Birmingham and advanced to the 1/8th finals of the FA Cup. The Belgian midfielder, who is out of the picture for the Red Devils, scored the 3-0 against Birmingham after 88 minutes with his first goal of the season. Wout Faes remained on the bench.

Everton-Luton was the match between Belgian midfielders Amadou Onana and Sambi Lokonga. The latter was substituted after 66 minutes at Luton. Thomas Kaminski was on the bench at Luton. Onana finished the match and that was a relief, because during the match the doctors rushed over when he was lying down and briefly treated his knee. But on a sporting level, Onana suffered a major setback, as Woodrow scored the qualifying goal for Luton in the 96th minute.

Brighton, with ex-Anderlecht goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen between the posts, won 2-5 against Sheffield United.

An emotional moment for 24-year-old Jaidon Anthony, who opened the score for Leeds against Plymouth. He dedicated his goal to his late mother.
