Brighton coach Roberto De Zerbi is strict with Leandro Trossard (28). According to the Italian, our compatriot has not reached his level since the World Cup. “Trossard is a good player, but I want to see him at 100 percent, that hasn’t been the case since the World Cup,” said De Zerbi.

Leandro Trossard had a disappointing World Cup. Not only were the Red Devils eliminated in the first round, Trossard himself was only kicked off once, against Croatia, and was substituted before the hour mark.
“Trossard is a good player, but I want to see him at 100 percent, that hasn’t been the case since the World Cup. At the moment I don’t see him playing football in top form,” said his coach De Zerbi.
Before the trip to Qatar, Trossard had a top season with seven goals and three assists in the Premier League, but his statistics in two league and one League Cup match have remained unchanged since the World Cup. He didn’t come off the bench against Everton last weekend.
Chances are that Trossard will leave Brighton & Hove Albion next summer. His contract is about to expire and he has already rejected several proposals for an extension.
