Ysaline Bonaventure advances to WTA Auckland quarterfinals


Ysaline Bonaventure (WTA 95) has qualified for the quarterfinals of the WTA tournament in Auckland, New Zealand (hard / $ 259,303) on Thursday.


The 28-year-old from Liège, who comes from the qualifications, won in the second round in three sets against the Canadian eighth seed Rebecca Marino (WTA 63): 3-6, 6-3 and 6-3. The game lasted 1 hour and 28 minutes.

Bonaventure will play in the quarterfinals against Austrian Julia Grabher (WTA 82) or Canadian third seed Leylah Fernandez (WTA 40).
