Cyriel Dessers started 2023 under an unfavorable star. His club Cremonese lost to Juventus (0-1) in stoppage time. Cremonese could not win this season and remains in a relegation place with seven points.

With only eleven goals it is clear where the shoe pinches at Cremonese: scoring. Cyriel Dessers’ team bravely resisted the great Juventus, but it was not possible to score. Not even for Juventus, by the way, which made the most goal attempts.

The game seemed to end in a scoreless nil-nil, but that was counted without Arkadiusz Milik. The Polish attacker scored the only and therefore decisive goal of the match in stoppage time. Dessers was replaced fifteen minutes before the end. There were no World Cup finalists on the field at Juventus. Rabiot (France) and Paredes (Argentina) came on in the second half.

Juventus settles in third place with this victory, Cremonese remains in penultimate place. Only Hellas Verona does worse.
