Lots of transfer movement in Kortrijk: Regali and Atemona must keep KVK in first class

KV Kortrijk completed two winter transfers on Tuesday: attacker Martin Regali (29) in Christalino Atemona (20).

Martin Regali (29) was the first winter transfer from KV Kortrijk on Tuesday. The Slovak striker comes over from Ruzomberok, a first division team from his home country. He signs a contract through 2024 with an option to extend for a further two seasons. In March 2022, Regali made his debut for the Slovak national team. In the meantime, his international counter is at four games. The striker can already take office on the field of OH Leuven on Sunday.

In addition to Regali’s transfer, KVK also immediately acquired its second winter reinforcement. Christalino Atemona (20) comes over from Hertha BSC. The German centre-back underwent a two-week trial period with the Dudes and has now signed a six-month deal. If Kortrijk manages to survive, an automatic extension of one year will follow. There is no transfer price involved, but Hertha BSC has a resale percentage.
