Batshuayi scores twice and is match winner for Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce successfully completed the move to low-flyer Antalyaspor on Tuesday evening on the seventeenth matchday of the Super Lig. Michy Batshuayi scored twice to give the visitors a 1-2 victory.

Halfway through, the visitors, with Batshuayi in the striker from the kick-off, were still behind by an early goal by Haji Wright (14.). In the second half, the Red Devil single-handedly turned the game around with goals in the 55th and 62nd minutes. After the double blow, his counter is now eight league goals for Fener. The match winner was allowed to rest five minutes before the end.

Deep in injury time, the 19-time national champion breathed a sigh of relief when the equalizer was reversed by the VAR.

In the standings of the Turkish first division, Batshuayi and co. currently the leader with 35 points, at the expense of Dries Mertens’ Galatasaray, which has 33 points and will play in-house on Wednesday.
