Arne Engels leaves Club NXT, the U23 team of Dutch champion Club Brugge that plays in the second division, for Bundesliga team FC Augsburg, both teams announced on Tuesday.

The nineteen-year-old Belgian youth international signed an agreement there until mid-2027. The transfer would involve an amount of 100,000 euros.
For Augsburg, Engels is the first addition to this winter mercato. Engels immediately joins the training camp of the Germans in Algorfa in Spain on Wednesday. The Bundesliga will not start again until the end of this month.
