Idol of the Palmeiras fans, Gustavo Gómez renews his contract with Verdão and has a salary increase.
After Raphael Veiga e BlackPalmeiras defined the extension of the contract of another important holder: Gustavo Gómez.
According to journalist Luca Bendoni and also some sports websites in Paraguay, the defender’s bond was extended for three seasons, that is, until December 2027.
In addition to the extension, Gómez will receive a salary adjustment that will make him one of the best paid players in the Palmeirense squad.
At the age of 29 and at the club since 2018, Gustavo Gómez has already entered the history of Verdão; current captain, the defender has 217 games played and 8 titles won: Brasileirão (2018 and 2022), Campeonato Paulista (2020 and 2022), Libertadores (2020 and 2021), Copa do Brasil (2020) and Recopa Sul-Americana (2022) .
