The coffin with Pelé’s remains has been in the center circle of the Santos stadium since Monday, where many thousands of fans have turned up to give the three-time world champion a final salute.

Pelé, 82, passed away on December 29 after a battle with cancer. He will be buried privately on Tuesday.
