Ysaline Bonaventure to second qualifying round in New Zealand


Ysaline Bonaventure (WTA-95) has qualified for the second and final qualifying round of the WTA tournament in Auckland, New Zealand ($ 259,303) on Saturday. The 28-year-old from Liège, first seed in the qualifications, defeated the Frenchwoman Elsa Jacquemot (WTA-144) 6-3 and 6-4.


For a place in the main draw, Bonaventure also has to pass the Dutch Arantxa Rus (WTA-101). He won 6-2 and 6-0 against the Italian Lucrezia Stefanini (WTA-140).
