Parker is currently out after being sacked after one year at Bournemouth in August. It was his second experience as a manager in the Premier League, having previously been at Fulham. He was there from February 2019 to June 2021 and experienced both relegation and promotion. Denis Odoi obviously knows him well as a former Fulham player. As a player, Parker made it to Chelsea and Tottenham. He was a controlling midfielder and made 18 appearances for the England national team.

It now remains to be seen whether Parker, who brought several assistants from Fulham to Bournemouth, wins the argument. Because he is not the only candidate. But in any case, Club wants to present its new coach as soon as possible. The training sessions resume on Monday, next Sunday the crucial move to leader Racing Genk awaits.
