Striker Pedro Vitor was officially presented by Remo last Wednesday. In a press conference, the 24-year-old striker reveals why he chose Leão and that he wants to use what he learned in international football to help Leão.
– I was very interested in the project and the size of the club. It’s a huge crowd. This made my heart fill with desire for the club, to achieve great things, not only with the team but also with the mass.
Before arriving at Leão, Pedro Vitor was loaned by Fortaleza to Náutico. For Timbu, the striker played the entire 2022 season, playing in 49 matches and scoring four goals. He won the Campeonato Pernambucano, but ended up being relegated with the team to Série C.
For Leão do Pici, the striker played only in the under-23 team, for the 2021 Brasileirão de Aspirantes. It is the second time that Fortaleza has loaned the athlete to another team.
Born in Recife, the player is formed in the youth categories of Sport, where he started his career as a professional. He still has spells at AEK and Aris, both from Greece, LC Lviv, from Ukraine, KuPS, from Finland, Azuriz and Urberlândia.
