Endrick scores 3 goals, leaves Diego Ribas, ex-Flamengo, on the ground and shines in Zico’s star game.
Last Wednesday (28), at 9 pm, in Maracanã, Zico’s Game of the Stars took place with around 60,000 fans. Endrick, star of Palmeiras, was invited and played in the commemorative match.
It didn’t take Endrick long to score his first goal in his first game at Maracanã. At 42′, the 16-year-old received a free kick after putting the ball in, adjusted it to his left leg and finished with no chance of defense. After just two minutes he received another pass between the lines and, this time from the right, crossed and scored his second goal. During the break, the boy gave an interview.
“Just thank God, right? Being here playing at Maracanã and I’m here fulfilling my dream. (…) He (Jardel) spoke a few words to me there and really, it is to follow the advice of people who played in that position, people who have a good head.”
Jardel, when the reporter asked what tips he gave, revealed. “You don’t have to be nice, you have to be selfish, that way you’ll bring another golden boot to Brazil.”
On the way back to the 2nd half, Endrick continued to act and scored his third goal at 36′ of the final stage, this time charging from the right and shooting from afar, without so much strength, but in the left corner of the goalkeeper, who did not reach.
Thus, with three goals, Endrick ends his participation in these solidarity games and prepares to introduce himself to Palmeiras next week.
