Kely Nascimento, the eldest daughter of Brazilian football legend Pelé, has confirmed the death of her father on Instagram with an emotional message. A few days ago, she shared one last photo of her father.
“Everything we are, we owe to you. We love you infinitely. Rest in peace.” With those words, Nascimento shares another photo in which (presumably) family members hold Pelé’s hands. The football star died on Thursday at the age of 82. His death is also confirmed by his agent.
Five days ago, Nascimento shared another photo of her father in the hospital. She then lay on his bed in his arms.
