The midfielder has been playing for PSG since the summer of 2012, which picked him up at Pescara. The Italian international (51 caps), European champion in 2021, will play his 399th game for the Parisian club against Strasbourg on Wednesday evening. He has so far scored 11 goals and provided 48 assists. Verratti was crowned French champion eight times with PSG. He also won the French Cup six times and the French League Cup as many times.

Verratti is not far from the record number of games played for PSG. That is in the name of Jean-Marc Pilorget (435).
