Rogério Ceni took stock of São Paulo’s season, which ended this Sunday with the 4-0 thrashing of Goiás, in the last round of the Brasileirão.
Despite the result, the team did not get a place in the Libertadores and ended the championship in ninth place. For the coach, the attempt to take the disputes of the South American and Copa do Brasil together with the Brazilian ended up influencing the result.

Tricolor reached two finals in 2022, but ended up as runner-up in both: against Palmeiras, in Paulistão, and Independiente del Valle, for Sul-Americana.
Ceni has already warned that he will remain at the club next year, but is waiting for signings to give new characteristics to the squad for a season that he expects to be more complicated.
