CHALLENGER PRO LEAGUE. SK Beveren takes six out of six and pushes Lierse even deeper into the hole

SK Beveren recorded its second victory in a row on Saturday on the 21st matchday in the Challenger Por League. It won 3-1 at home against Lierse Kempenzonen, which lagged behind with 1 to 18.

SK Beveren dictated the pace in the first half and led 2-0 after 23 minutes after goals from Filipovic (21.) and Koyalipou (23.). Ousmane Sow (40.) gave the visitors some hope again just before half-time, but a turnaround was not possible for the Pallieters. Mathis Servais (77.) secured the victory for Beveren in the second half.

Beveren is currently in sixth place in the rankings with the same number of points (35) as Dender (7th) and Lommel (5th), both of whom still have a match in hand. Lierse continues to sink and is in thirteenth place with only 19 points.
