VIDEO: Cristiano Ronaldo reacts emotionally after missing what could be the biggest shot of his career – you won’t believe it until you watch.

Al-Nassr had to work hard on Monday in the AFC Champions League. Cristiano Ronaldo and co started with a one-goal deficit against Al Ain (0-1). The visitors took a 0-2 lead before half-time, which was a tragedy for Al-Nassr. However, the home team quickly came back and on the hour mark Ronaldo had the chance to make it 3-2 and make the comeback, but the Portuguese superstar kicked a rebound from a few meters wide of the goal… To his own disbelief.

Alex Telles scored the third goal for Al-Nassr ten minutes later, forcing extra time. Ronaldo and co soon found themselves with ten of them after a red card for Aymen Yahya. However, goalkeeper Raghed Al-Najjar made a mistake in the 103rd minute, allowing Al Ain to level again.

Books ready for Al-Nassr? No, because in the 118th minute Ronaldo scored a penalty. Good for the 4-3 and therefore penalties for a ticket to the semi-finals. But that's where things went wrong for Al-Nassr. While Al Ain scored a three out of three, the home team missed three of its first four eleven meters. Only Ronaldo scored. So exit Al-Nassr.
