Lucas Lima arrived at Palmeiras in 2018, in a long negotiation after his departure from Santos. Verdão didn’t have to pay Santos anything, however, they signed a 5-season contract with the midfielder and salary of BRL 1 million monthly.

The midfielder played a lot in the first 3 seasons, but never fell in favor of the fans, this year, the player was loaned to Fortaleza, where he played in 17 games, scored 1 goal and gave assists.

The Lion of Pici, showed interest in having the player in 2022, however, the high salary weighs in the negotiation.
