The Denver Nuggets recorded a 113-100 victory against the New York Knicks on Thursday in the NBA. Serbian star Nikola Jokic achieved his 22nd triple-double of the season at the Ball Arena in Colorado.

Jokic finished with 30 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists. However, the two-time MVP did not become the top scorer. That title went to his teammate Michael Porter Jr., who scored 31 points.

It was the 49th win in 70 games for the reigning champion. Denver is locked in an exciting battle for the lead in the Western Conference with number one Oklahoma City (48w, 20v) and Minnesota (47w, 22v).

The Knicks lost for the 28th time (in 69 games) and their fifth in the Eastern Conference. Boston is the undisputed leader there ahead of Milwaukee. The Bucks defeated the Brooklyn Nets 115-108. Damian Lillard once again took center stage with 30 points and 12 assists. Greek star Giannis Antetokoumpo missed the last two games due to a minor injury, and upon his return was immediately good for 21 points and 9 rebounds.

Luka Doncic once again showed his great value for Dallas. The Slovenian All-Star flirted with a triple-double (34 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists) in the home game against Utah Jazz. The Mavericks won 113-97 and are sixth in the West, just ahead of Phoenix, which defeated Atlanta 128-115. The top six are guaranteed a place in the play-offs.
