Belgian Cats and Lions abroad: win for Hans Vanwijn, strong performance by Retin Obasohan and Ismael Bako

Sam Van Rossom was given a break at Valencia, which triumphed 75-76 in Andorra. Still in the Spanish ACB, Hans Vanwijn (12 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists) led Zaragoza to a 79-75 win against Breogan. Ismael Bako had 15 points, 9 rebounds and 1 assist but lost with Manresa 90-82 versus Fuenlabrada. Vrenz Bleijenbergh (7 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist) lost with Real Betis Sevilla 76-87 to Obradeiro.

In the Israeli Winner League, Retin Obasohan shone (21 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists). He did lose the top match with Hapoel Jerusalem 104–80 against Maccabi Tel Aviv. In the French Pro A, Jean Salumu and Châlon Reims lost 94-81 to ASVEL Villeurbanne. Quentin Serrron (2 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists) lost in Pro B with Boulazac 63-59 to Denain.

In the German BBL, Elias Lasisi (2 points, 1 assist) triumphed with Bayreuth’s Crailsheim 74-86. In the Turkish BSL, Thomas Akyazili (2 points, 1 assist) won against Merkezefendi and 87-79 against Afyon. In Saudi Arabia (SBL), Khalid Boukichou (16 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists) led Ohod to 99-84 win versus Al Ittihad.

Victories for Vanloo, Allemand and sisters MestdaghIn the Russian PBL, Julie Vanloo (10 points, 3 rebounds, 9 assists) played meticulously and propelled Krasnoyarsk to the 67-80 win in Rostov. Kyara Linskens (7 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists) lost with Orenburg 79-54 to Dynamo Kursk. In the Italian Serie A, Kim Mestdagh (12 points, 4 rebounds) beat Schio 54-70 against Faenza. In the French LFB there was a win for Julie Allemand (11 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists) and with Lyon in Landes: 45-85.

In the Spanish Lega Femenina, Antonia Delaere (9 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists) lost to Zaragoza 69-59 to Salamanca. Hanne Mestdagh (6 points, 1 assists) won with Gran Canaria 74-58 against Araski. In the LF Challenge, Jana Raman (6 points, 4 rebounds) beat Paterna 79-74 against Alqazeres. Heleen Nauwelaers (15 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists) was too strong for Plasencia with Granada: 69-76.

In the Swiss SLB, Laure Devos (17 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists) won with Friborg 66-73 against Troitorrents.
