The second match day in the Champions League brought an attractive duel in group B between Retin Obasohan and Ismael Bako. Ismael Bako (8 points, 6 rebounds) triumphed after an exciting match and with the Spanish Manresa 68-73 against Hapoel Jerusalem. Retin Obasohan was good for 5 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists for the Israeli. For Bako and Manresa an immediate 2 out of 2, for Obasohan after two narrow defeats a 0 out of 2.
Win for Elias Lasisi in FIBA Europe Cup
In group G of the FIBA Europe Cup, Elais Lasisi achieved a brilliant victory on the road with the German Crailsheim and with the Danish Bakken Bears. Lasisi was the star, leading Crailsheim to a 79-91 victory with 21 points (5 three-pointers), 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
Defeats for Allemand and VanwijnIn the EuroCup Women, Julie Allemand suffered a 70-67 defeat in group J with the French ASVEL Lyon against the Spanish Estudiantes Madrid. In the FIBA Europe Cup there was also a defeat in group D for Hans Vanwijn (5 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist) with the Spanish Zaragoza versus the Russian Saratov: 100-80.
