Palmeiras may have a big shortage for the final of the Copa Libertadores da América, which takes place on November 27 in Montevideo, Uruguay. According to journalist Alex Muller, Felipe Melo could be arrested if he enters the country, because of the fight in the game against Peñarol in 2017, in the continental competition.

— Lawyers for Palmeiras need to race against time so that Felipe Melo can play in the Libertadores final. There is great optimism that everything will be resolved, but if the player entered Uruguay today, he would run the risk of being arrested for that fight in the game against Peñarol, informed Alex Müller, in a publication in the Twitter.

— The legal department of Palmeiras must take action to seek out the local authorities to find out what can be done, to avoid an embarrassment, a concern, and any loss of focus that would be the entry of Palmeiras in Uruguay and detention, even if provisional for the interrogation of Felipe Melo, explained Jorge Nicola.
