Limburg United lost for the third consecutive time on Wednesday evening and in Leuven Bears. After the disappointing results, the board of Limburg United immediately intervened and the collaboration with Sacha Massot was terminated. Assistant coach Raymond Westphalen takes over. Niels Marnegrave becomes the first assistant.

The 37-year-old Sacha Massot has been coach of Limburg United since 2020. He celebrated his debut as head coach in 2018 with Liège. Before that, the 2m04 Limburger was successful as a player at Charleroi, Pepinster and Liège, among others, and he was also a fixed value at the Belgian Lions for years. Raymond Westphalen will make his debut as coach at Limburg United tomorrow in the home game against Spirou Charleroi.
