Romanian tennis star Simona Halep has stopped working with her trainer Darren Cahill. She confirmed this on her social media on Wednesday. “After six wonderful years of working together, Darren Cahill and I have decided it is time to end our working relationship,” she wrote on Twitter. “Thank you for everything D, for making me a better tennis player and a better person.”

Halep won two grand slams under the Australian former pro, Roland Garros 2018 and Wimbledon 2019. The 29-year-old Romanian, an ex-number 1, has dropped to fourteenth place in the WTA ranking after a lot of injuries.
