Juventus avoided losing points in the final phase on Saturday afternoon during the seventeenth round of Serie A on the field of Frosinone, which surprisingly eliminated Napoli from the cup earlier this week. The Old Lady recorded a 1-2 victory. Later in the afternoon (3 p.m.) Charles De Ketelaere’s Atalanta will play on the Bologna field.

18-year-old Kenan Yildiz rewarded the confidence of coach Massimiliano Allegri with an early goal in the twelfth minute. It was only the young Turkish international’s first start for Juventus. The Bianconeri, as we have seen before this season, pulled back from the lead and conceded the equalizer shortly after half-time. Jaime Baez hung the signs evenly again. Juve knew something had to change, so Dusan Vlahovic came off the bench to save the furniture. The Serbian striker did what was expected of him and eventually scored the three-pointer with a clever header from Weston McKennie.

In the rankings, number two Juventus with 40 points maintains contact with leader Inter, which has 41 points and will host Lecce later on Saturday.

Also on the program today: the match between Bologna and Atalanta Bergamo. In other words, a duel between Red Devils Charles De Ketelaere and Alexis Saelemaekers, both in the starting line-up. Joshua Zirkzee, ex-Anderlecht, will also kick off for the home team as usual.
