Borussia Dortmund defeated Union Berlin on Sunday evening: 4-2. At home, who else but Erling Haaland claimed the lead with 2 goals. Haaland scored his 67th and 68th goals for Dortmund, which took him only 67 games. Absurd!
It looked to be an easy night for Dortmund, with Donyell Malen playing for 73 minutes. The home side took a 3-0 lead via goals from Raphaël Guerreiro and Haaland and an own goal from Marvin Friedrich. Union Berlin brazenly came back into the game with hits from Max Kruse (penalty) and Andreas Voglsammer. Haaland finally helped his team to the 3 points just under 10 minutes before the end.
Dortmund is in 2nd place after 5 rounds with 1 point less than leader Bayern Munich. Wolfsburg, which has as many points (12) as Dortmund, will come into action later (kick-off 7.30 pm).
