Serbia among the men and France among the women were crowned world champions. The 3X3 Lions finished fourth and the 3X3 Cats reached the quarterfinals. With the FIBA 3×3 Europe Cup we are putting Antwerp even better on the map of the basketball world and strengthening our image as the sports capital of Flanders.” After the OQT (Olympic qualifying tournament) in Ostend 2020 and Antwerp 2024, the Final Four of the Champions League in 2019 (Antwerp, Sportpaleis) and therefore the 3X3 World Cup 2022, the fifth major basketball tournament to take place in Belgium.
