The Belgian 3×3 basketball men of Team Antwerp have qualified for the quarterfinals of the World Tour 3×3 on Saturday, which will stop in Prague this weekend.
Nick Celis, Thibaut Vervoort, Thierry Mariën and Bryan De Valck finished their group in first place without any problems. They won 16-10 against the Czech Republic (Humpolec) and 18-16 against Lithuania (Utena).
They can now prepare for the next round, Sunday against the Serbs of Pirot, who finished second in their group with a win and a defeat. The meeting is scheduled for 11:10 AM, the semi-finals and final will be finished in the afternoon.
The next leg of the World Tour, number six, will take place in Abu Dhabi on October 29 and 30. In the general classification, Team Antwerp is in fifth place. Ub’s Serbs take the lead.
