During the Copa América in Brazil, with Chile, Arturo Vidal reinforced his desire to one day defend Flamengo. And, despite having stressed that he has another year on his contract with Inter Milan, he is seen as negotiable at the moment.
According to the website “Calciomercato”, the Italian club welcomes a transfer of the midfielder to reduce his payroll. Vidal receives 7 million euros (R$ 42 million at the current price) per season.

Only two players from Inter’s roster, inclusive, have higher salaries than the former Barcelona: striker Romelu Lukaku and midfielder Christian Eriksen.
The problem is that it is precisely the Chilean’s high salaries that have driven anyone interested in the player. At the moment, there is no proposal on the Internazionale table.
Also according to Calciomercato, Vidal only received surveys, one of them from Flamengo. Other possible interested parties were Boca Juniors, América-MEX and Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs.
At Copa América, Vidal opened the doors to work in Brazil: “Yes. There is a possibility. I always say that my dream is to play for Flamengo. I still have a contract with Inter Milan, but maybe next year I can’t come here?”.
