The very first campaign of the BNXT-League will start on September 24. In addition to the ten Belgian teams, twelve Dutch teams also participate. On September 11, the BNXT-League will officially start with the Supercup between Dutch champion Leiden and Belgian champion Ostend.
In the first phase, the Belgian and Dutch teams complete a national round. Only after that phase and from February 2022 will Belgian and Dutch teams compete against each other. The Elite Gold contains the five best Belgian and Dutch teams. In the Elite Silver the five remaining Belgian and also the seven remaining Dutch team. This is followed by a national and BNXT play-offs.
FIBA Europe also requires Belgium and the Netherlands to complete a national competition to indicate European tickets. Brussels opens on September 24 against champion Ostend, Antwerp Giants moves to Limburg United, Okapi Aalst-Liège, Bergen-Leuven Bears and Kangaroos Mechelen-Charleroi are the other matches of the first day of play.
