Leicester City, the team of Red Devils Youri Tielemans, Dennis Praet and Timothy Castagne, announced the arrival of attacker Patson Daka on Wednesday. He signed a five-year contract with the Foxes. The 22-year-old Zambian comes over from Red Bull Salzburg, which would catch about thirty million euros.
Daka arrived at Salzburg in July 2017. Since then, he has scored 68 goals and 27 assists in 125 official matches. Racing Genk and Club Brugge do not have good memories of the fast Zambian. In the Champions League he scored once against Racing Genk in November 2019, nine months earlier he was accurate twice in the Europa League against Club Brugge.
Leicester City finished fifth in the Premier League last season and will thus enter the Europa League group stage next season.
