Revealed in Flamengo’s youth categories, midfielder Renato Augusto should start training at Ninho do Urubu soon. The former Fla player will use the club’s facilities to regain his fitness to return to Beijing Guoan-CHN, where he has a contract until December 31, 2021.
“Letting you keep fit in CT is normal. He plays too much. It has to settle there in China. Has a contract until the end of the year. You have to accept to reduce and, even so, it is not so simple”, said a source linked to the board of the club to ‘Paparazzo Rubro-Negro’. “The Medical Department of Flamengo is very good. It wouldn’t be a problem. If it comes, which is still not being resolved, as it needs to be resolved first in China, we do not believe that age and bruises are problems”, he added.

For Flamengo, Renato Augusto has 95 matches, between the years 2005 to 2008, with 11 goals scored and 13 assists. After leaving Rubro-Negro, he made a deal with Bayer Leverkusen, where he stayed until 2013. He returned to Brazil to defend Corinthians, where he remained until 2015. Since then, he has defended the Chinese club.
Flamengo will face RB Bragantino soon, at 9 pm, at Maracanã, for the fifth round of the Brazilian Championship. Rubro-Negro comes from the victory of and classification in the Copa do Brasil, against Coritiba. Fla now awaits the opponent in the round of 16 of the tournament, which will be drawn next Tuesday. In the last round of the Brasileirão, Mais Querido beat América-MG by 2-0.
