The European football association UEFA has appointed Spaniard Antonio Mateu Lahoz as referee for the European Championship match on Saturday (9pm) in Saint Petersburg between Belgium and Russia.
The 44-year-old Mateu Lahoz is not the first one. At the end of May, for example, he whistled the final of the Champions League between Manchester City and Chelsea (0-1).
In October 2018, the Spaniard was game leader in the Nations League match between Belgium and Switzerland in Brussels (2-1).
