The Dutch hockey players have started the European championships well. After a very solid victory over France in the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen, the Orange squad won in front of about 3500 fans: 3-0!
The goals of the Orange were in the name of Jip Janssen, Thierry Brinkman and Jeroen Hertzberger. Earlier in the day, the tournament was opened by the big rival. The German hockey players immediately showed their class.

They won 8-1 against Wales. The Netherlands against Germany is of course the game that matters for many. Both teams meet on Sunday.
