Max Verstappen is the race leader at the Monaco Grand Prix! He started at the front (in 2nd place, but the pole-position remained empty) and did not lose that place to Valtteri Bottas. It is now important that Verstappen either drives away from Bottas, or plans his pit stop better than the Finn.
Why is the start in Monaco so important? Because it is almost impossible to overtake in the race! The driver driving in front can really only be overtaken at the pit stops or if he makes a big mistake himself.
